Company GALLOO is always willing to participate in projects that are aiming towards a better recycling of waste products. As the leading EU-certified ship recycling yard Galloo did not hesitate to join the Circles of Life project, co-funded by the European Union.
The ultimate aim of the project and of Galloo is to built ships in order to make the recycling easier and most of all get a better recycling percentage. The ultimate goal is to achieve a 100% recycling so there are no waste products left. This fits perfectly in the European Green Deal and the circular economy.
Working together with a wide variety of companies and organizations like shipyards, suppliers, research organizations, NGO’s and classification bodies in order to build, operate, maintain and recycle the ships of the tomorrow gives everybody involved a great boost.
Galloo not only operates a ship recycling yard, but has a large range of recycling machinery to achieve the 100% recycling goal: ferrous and non-ferrous shredders, shears and presses, flotation installations, etc. Moreover our own r&d branche can help develop new recycling methods, technologies and instruments.
