This deliverable defines the foundations, scope, and standard data requirements for the Ship Lifecycle Passport and the Ship Circular Materials Passport, developed within the CirclesOfLife project to support a more circular, transparent, and environmentally responsible maritime industry. The work integrates regulatory insights, stakeholder needs, and best‑practice benchmarking across multiple industries. A central principle of this work is not re‑inventing the wheel, but adopting existing best practices, regulations, and standards. The proposed concept will be useful and pragmatic, enabling gradual adoption without creating an excessive administrative burden.
