During the public consultation for the European Maritime Industrial Strategy, the CirclesOfLife consortium provided a contribution focusing on the coherence of the project’s results and the EU policies. This submission is meant to provide technical input for the EMIS. The CirclesOfLife consortium strongly supports the Commission’s efforts to revitalise the EU maritime industrial base. Therefore the inclusion of clear references to digital and performance-based solutions such as the Ship Lifecycle Passport and Ship Circular Material Passport and the Shipyard Environmental Performance Index as pillars of this strategy, is urgent. Update March 2026
